World of Warships

Here lately, I have been playing World of Warships on Linux. This game is very addictive if you like combat games to where you play against other players in teams. This game has been out for some time; even though, it says Free to Play, you will find out that one will have to spend some money to get the premium features of the game.

I picked this game up from Steam for about 4 US Dollars. It was a bundle of other games from the same developers of World of Warships with a few days of premium account features. At the time of this writing, I have played over 12 hours and starting to get the hang of it.

I am playing this game on a Ryzen 7 2700 with a RX 570 graphics card powered by PopOS! 21.10. This game is developed for Windows but for us Linux users; we can play it with no problems using Proton 6.3-8. I have tested out all the features and everything works as intended from the developers.

There is a lot of ships you can research and play with in this game from Aircraft Carriers to Destroyers. I like playing with the Battleships on the US side. I do recommend this game; even though, I don’t particularly gravitate to Free to Play games. This one is addictive.
